Workgroup limits PRO ET index for factory-built new cars at Lithuanian races.

After discussions with LASF (Lietuvos automobilių sporto federacija) and the local race organizer, the Baltic Drag Racing Workgroup has decided to issue a restriction for new factory-built cars in the PRO ET class.

Due to local safety standards in Lithuania, cars that have been manufactured later than 2014 and do not have a roll bar installed can not set their indexes any lower than 11,50 seconds.

Modified cars with roll bars and roll cages can set their indexes as low as 10.5 in the Baltic Cup Pro ET class.

This restriction affects only races held in Lithuania. The Baltic Work Group will discuss the issue after the season, deciding whether to harmonize the rule with other participating countries or leave this exception for Lithuanian races only.
